Are you having a dispute with a retailer

The law which governs the sale of goods can be complicated and confusing. It is also the case that the practices of some retailers are more generous than the law allows. This causes confusion as you might think you have a legal right when another store was actually doing you a favour.

The Office of Fair Trading, known as the OFT, on 8 September 2010, set up very useful assistance to help retailers when they deal with customers. It is prepared a page for the retailer to give to you. It looks like this:
